Chapel Hill, North Carolina

About the Center

The Center for Esophageal Diseases and Swallowing (CEDAS) is focused on conducting quality clinical research to improve the scientific knowledge of esophageal conditions such as Barrett’s esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis, and reflux/GERD. CEDAS is comprised of physicians, mid-level care providers, and full time research staff. This team works together to provide not only clinical care to patients but also to design, implement, conduct, and analyze research studies in digestive diseases. CEDAS is the only center in the Southeast region with a clinical and research focus on eosinophilic GI disorders, and is proud to be part of CEGIR. CEDAS will be involved in enrolling patients in both of CEGIR’s clinical trials.
