The Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) Clinic at SickKids was established in 2004 and has grown to be one of the largest PCD clinics in the world. The clinic is a multidisciplinary team including physician services, chest physiotherapy, nursing, social work and dietetics, in collaboration with ENT staff and basic scientists, who work together to improve health outcomes. The clinic has over 100 patients who receive specialty care aimed at preventing the progression of lung disease and improving quality of life.
